Off The Cuff - May Edition
Off The Cuff is a casual, creative writing workshop, perfect for those who want to flex their creative muscles and meet other folks who love the craft.
Who: Anyone who loves to write for fun and/or experiment with the craft
When: Thursday, May 29th at 6pm - 8pm (End time is approximate)
Where: The Second Floor of Milk Shop at 45 William Street
Why: Because writing and being creative is fun!
No formal writing experience is required - bring some paper and something to write with. If you’re more comfortable using a laptop or tablet, feel free to bring that instead. This will be a relaxed and casual evening where you can practice, strengthen, and/or experiment with your writing.
The evening will start with a mini lesson, then, you’ll have the rest of the night to write and socialize. Like with comedy improv shows, we’ll be choosing writing prompts at random. Oh, and that’s not all. The time you have to write your stories will get shorter and shorter…
If you like what you’ve written, you can even share with the group - although that is not mandatory.

Stephanie Anne is a local author and oddball extraordinaire. She specializes in disturbing horror stories and post-apocalyptic science fiction, but isn’t afraid to get silly and experiment with her writing. When she’s not crafting nightmare fuel, this crazy cat person runs The Book Purge fundraiser in support of the Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue.
